Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 15 – Play Cooper Kupp and More at DraftKings
Last week’s NFL DFS picks were straight fire. My secondary suggestions were admittedly regrettable, but my top play at each main position wrecked.
If you used my plays as your core, you’d have won a lot of money. The goal is the same heading into a new week at DraftKings. Let’s dive into my top week 15 NFL DFS picks.
Jordan Love, QB, Packers ($6.2k)
Jordan Love dealt with a little regression on MNF in week 14. Even so, he responded to adversity well, throwing the game-winning touchdown – only to see his defense give up a game-winner field goal.
That was always looking like a trap game, though. Green Bay (and particularly Love) had played so well during their three-game winning streak, that a road game against a spirited Giants squad felt like a letdown spot.
Love’s job now is to make that a distant memory and bounce back at home. I tend to like his chances, seeing as he gets a Buccaneers defense that has been awful (27th) against fantasy passers this year.
This defense just made Desmond Ridder look like a god, after all.
Love may not have his usual weapons, but whether he crushes this matchup early or plays from behind late, I think he is going to smash this price tag.
Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers ($9.3k)
I faded C-Mac last week and suggested you do the same. His price was high, and he was projecting for a lot of ownership. This week, I’m ignoring all of that.
I mean, do you even remember what this dude did the last time he faced the Cardinals?
Gulp.
Arizona has not been great against running backs on the year, and this is a terrible spot for them. McCaffrey projects for an obscene 25.88 fantasy points per RotoGrinders.com, and that simply is not something I want to fade.
Ownership could be high, but I am turning a blind eye and stuffing these raw points into my week 15 NFL DFS lineups.
Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams ($7.8k)
I’m pretty excited to see that Puka Nacua is cheaper and projects a little better than Kupp this week. A weirdly low projection for Kupp could actually keep ownership down, even though he’s in a smash spot.
Oh, and after a really rough stretch, Kupp popped off in week 14.
Washington has been horrific against the pass in 2023, and the Rams are feeling it. They just torched a good Ravens defense, so there’s really no reason not to like Kupp here.
Assuming he doesn’t fall back into the funk he just escaped, he is way too cheap. Chalk or not, he will have a spot in most of my lineups and is one of my favorite week 15 NFL DFS picks.
Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers ($3k)
Kraft is way too cheap this week. He may end up being crazy owned, but I don’t really care. Tampa Bay has been a pass funnel defense, and it’s no different versus TEs (24th).
This is a really good spot for the Green Bay passing offense, and if you hadn’t heard, the Packers have a lot of injuries to their receiving room.
Needless to say, Kraft could be looking at more volume than usual in a smash spot. Other tight ends might pop as safer, but I actually think he’s got a nice floor here.
Dallas Cowboys Defense ($3.2k)
Lastly, I love the Cowboys as my top defense this week. They are usually far more expensive, but they’re coming down in salary due to a tough road game against the Bills.
Buffalo can put up points, but their offense hasn’t been nearly as dangerous in 2023 as we’re used to. On top of that, Dallas is a major threat to rack up sacks and turnovers, while we know they’re capable of housing a pick or fumble at any point.
Yeah, Dallas is not in an advantageous spot on paper, but Josh Allen has struggled with turnovers and this is honestly a terrible spot for him considering that.
The Rams are potentially a safer pivot against the Commanders, but if Dallas isn’t going to garner ownership, they feel like an excellent GPP play.
