Terry Rozier

NBA Underdog Fantasy Picks for Tuesday, 3/14/23

If you’re here, you’re looking for some quality Underdog fantasy picks to roll with. I’ve got a few up my sleeve for Tuesday’s NBA action, and I’d act on them now before the prices spike.

Here are my favorite four Underdog picks for Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Donovan Mitchell Over 4 Assists

Spida is admittedly better known for his scoring, while a healthy Darius Garland may not do you any favors tonight. That said, he does still average 4.7 dimes per contest on the year.

Mitchell has also pushed this total in four of his last five games. And in his last five clashes with Charlotte, he’s topped in four times.

This could easily end up being a blowout, but the Cavaliers vs. Hornets contest has a solid 223 point total, and a better than expected 7.5-point spread.

Mitchell can hit this even if he only plays three quarters, though, seeing as Charlotte allows the 8th most assists per game in the NBA.

Terry Rozier Over 4 Rebounds

Staying in that same game, I expect Terry Rozier to be rather busy. He’s surprisingly excelled against Cleveland this year, and he’s needed more than ever with LaMelo Ball out for the season.

Here’s what he’s managed to do in two games against the Cavs.

  • 27.5 points per game
  • 2.5 steals per game
  • 5.5 assists per game
  • 4.5 rebounds per game

I honestly love most of Rozier’s prop bets today (overs), but I prefer his rebound total.

He’s averaging 4.2 rebounds per game on the season, and in his last five games against Cleveland he’s pushed or topped this mark four times.

Anthony Davis Over 26.5 Points

The Brow has been way too quiet as a scorer lately. It’s nice for the Lakers that he doesn’t have to do it all at the moment, but 8 and 17 points isn’t something we should anticipate continuing for much longer.

LeBron James is still out, and The Brow is averaging 25.2 points per game over his last 10 contests without The King. And that’s including his two most recent stinkers.

Tonight he gets a little revenge against the team that drafted him, too.

Davis has scored 28 and 34 points the last two times he’s faced the Pels, and I just can’t see him producing such weak scoring numbers for a third straight game. Look for him to blow up tonight.

Jalen Williams Over 4 Rebounds

Lastly, I really like Jalen Williams to get five boards tonight. He is getting all the minutes he can handle lately, and he comes in averaging 4.3 rebounds per contest for the year.

That’s including a long stretch where he wasn’t playing as much as he is now. He’s now playing in the mid 30s for minutes every night, so barring random foul trouble, he’s going to see the floor a ton.

He’s been rebounding well as of late, too, with four or more glass cleanings in each of his last six outings.

I am sure there are loads more Underdog fantasy picks to consider tonight. However, one important tip when deciding on Underdog NBA props is being selective and not always pushing for five props if they’re not there, either.

Playing it safe by paying for the insurance isn’t a bad idea, either. Hopefully my Underdog NBA plays help you out tonight. Good luck!
