Free Underdog Fantasy Picks You’ll Love for Wednesday, 2/8 – Draymond Green Over 6.5 Assists and More

It’s obviously never a bad idea to wait deeper into any given slate, especially with injury news sure to trickle out. Of course, it’s also fun to hop on fantasy player props early.
If you want to do that, consider rolling with these three Underdog picks.
Jaden Ivey Under 21.5 PRA
Ivey is the riskiest of my Underdog NBA picks for Wednesday. It’s not much to do with him, though. It’s more about the status of Cleveland Cavaliers guards, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland.
Both are questionable to suit up tonight, which could end up complicating this fantasy prop.
That said, the Detroit Pistons are hesitant to overwork their stud rookie for whatever reason. He’s not the most consistent performer outside of scoring, too, while a date with a tough Cavs defense is far from ideal.
Detroit also happens to come into the night as 12.5-point road dogs. Everything leads me to believe the Under is the way to go with Ivey on this slate.
Jalen Green Over 22.5 Points
This one might be a bit safer, as Jalen Green is tasked with a lot of heavy lifting on offense for the Houston Rockets. That remains the case tonight with Kevin Porter Jr. still sidelined.
Green should be looking to score early and often here, while he’s also been highly successful in five meetings against the Kings squad he faces tonight.

Obviously Green likes to light up Sacramento. Light the F-ing Beam, indeed.
That data is thanks to Statsmuse, which allows us to quickly see how players have fared in specific matchups over time. Green has thrived in this one, while he’s already averaging nearly 22 points per game on the season, anyways.
He should be as active as ever in a game with a gaudy 239.5 total.
Draymond Green Over 6.5 Assists
Lastly, I’ll cap up my Underdog NBA slip with Green, who I love to get seven or more dimes tonight. There is a lot baked into this pick, but it probably starts with the continued absence of Steph Curry.
Green’s usage as a whole gets a boost here, but he’ll naturally try to set his teammates up more than usual. It is certainly worth noting that he averages 6.8 dimes per contest, and has hit the over in three of his last five games.
In his last five clashes with the Blazers, Green has notched more than seven assists four times. I think he’ll be busy and get us to where we need to go again tonight.
